"No
need for labels, no need indeed, what
label could you apply anyway. This CD is
soaked in jazz feeling, played by
technically immaculate musicians
interpreting fine tunes in which those
composed by the band leader/vocalist
himself need fear no challenge. Gordon's
voice is unique and his own. Altogether a
thoughtful and delightful collection." |

"FMR
have discovered a gem in Webber. With a
rich soulful voice and understated
delivery he is a must for "dinner jazz"
fans. As well as original compositions "no
need for labels" features superb covers of
"Nights in white satin", "What a
difference a day makes" "The long and
winding road" and Lionel Riche's "Hello" |

"Heard
this guy at a Mayfair wine bar, fronting
an 8 piece soul band with a hi energy
vocal performance that has to be heard to
be believed. The album is a shock! Gordon
has put together some fine, known (and not
so well known) jazzers.
Play "No need" and hear a
singer who is world apart from the
Mayfair wine bar performer. The album is
a joy, and the vocal performance oozes
subtle, experienced colourful blues. Why
FMR (the record company) have
categorised this superb soul and
brilliant blues man as "jazz" heaven
only knows?"

I
would like to take this opportunity to
thank you for your band's magnificent
performance at the Savoy. It was
a pleasure dealing with you in the
lead up to the event as there was very
little to worry about due to good
communication and your professional
approach. The
feedback obtained from the
guests, which were in excess of 350
was that last years annual
Ball was without doubt the
best ever! Our Society will
be using you for this years Savoy
event and I would gladly
recommend your services. again,
thank you for your lively performance
and I very much look forward to the
next opportunity to see you.

Gordon and
the band were fabulous! the
music was fantastic! they were
exceedingly professional and
helpful from start to finish, they
helped make our awards ceremony a
resounding success. As an event
organiser, I would happily
recommend them for any corporate
event in the future as this is one
less headache to worry
about and you can relax safe
in the knowledge that
the entertainment is in such
very good hands.

"Gordon and Steve
display a great knowledge of good
song-writing, mining nuggets from the
richest seams of rock and blues, arranging
them for two acoustic guitars, and
producing some absolute gems of
interpretation. Soulful vocals and a
penetrating guitar sound bring a new lease
of life to carefully-chosen material from
a variety of genres, as they eschew
the obvious in favour of a truly original
take on some classic tunes." |

Thank you for fantastic performance; you
made our evening very special. Gordon's
vocals were first class and his backing
band soulful and entertaining at all
times. We felt at ease the whole evening
because everyone enjoyed the band so much.
We had a diverse cross-section of guests
but everyone found the band to their
liking. The band were fun, entertaining,
very accommodating, but most of all
-SOULFUL. So many bands run through a set
of tired old standards with all the verve
of an office typing pool on a Friday
afternoon - this band are different; they
actually love what they are doing and the
guests at our reception loved every
minute. |

Just
to let you know that everybody really
enjoyed the party, as you could probably
see on the night. The venue and
catering were excellent, but most of all,
you and your band were fantastic.
After the party, I received all the thank
you calls; your band was the topic of much
of all the conversations. Many could
not believe just how good you were.
For me, the whole night seemed to pass so
quickly. You helped to make it
something that will be difficult to
beat. The Punch Bowl Restaurant rate
it as their best so far, and were really
impressed with your performance. You
were the talk of the restaurant the next
day. Thank you for a great night. |

The thrill of an up-tempo
Latin-pop fusion brought the room alive,
and the cool vivacious sounds of
Latin Soul enticed you down the stairs.
Accomplished duo Gordon and Dominic
expertly weaved around some familiar songs
in their own unique and relaxed style.
"Thanks Gordon You made our night a great
success, you are obviously "the top act"
and we will definitely be booking you for
Derby Day (Woodcote Park)"
Thanks again for great night, everybody is
still raving about you. Onwards and
upwards to our future Jazz Brunch.
